COACHING

Teresa offers customized one-on-one and group coaching programs developed through a detailed intake process with her clients. Coaching topics vary, but the intended outcomes of coaching work are enhanced self-awareness and awareness of group dynamics, increased number of effective tools and practices to promote ongoing personal and professional insights and development, and the ability to sustain personal and professional growth beyond the coaching engagement. Teresa often coaches employees in the following groups: executives and senior leaders, newly promoted leaders and emerging leaders, new hires, employees returning to work from extended leave including new parents, exiting employees including retirements and other voluntary separations, employees transitioning to new workplaces or careers, students preparing for graduation or other transitions, diverse employees (including multiple dimensions of diversity), and individual teams or departments within larger organizations.

CONSULTING

Teresa’s consulting engagements typically include a fact-finding or assessment phase to gather diverse perspectives and experiences about the issues to be addressed through her work. After collection of this data, she offers a highly collaborative approach to program design and implementation and is comfortable working with employees of all backgrounds and at all levels of an organization. Upon conclusion of her work, and as needed throughout the process, Teresa seeks feedback to evaluate her efforts and adjust as needed. Teresa has recently consulted with organizations to offer the following programs/initiatives: inclusive leadership development, improved and inclusive communication skills, receiving difficult messages and providing skillful feedback, and inclusive decision-making processes.

facilitating

Throughout her public health and legal careers, Teresa has facilitated numerous teams and multidisciplinary groups as they work through decision-making and other public processes. Teresa’s clients for this work are most often groups including governmental entities, nonprofit organizations, and private companies or individuals with diverse views and perspectives on the work to be accomplished. Teresa is skilled at bringing these groups together to set strategy, create joint strategic work product, and resolve challenging problems. Teresa is curious and does her research to fully understand the experiences around the table. She is skilled at process design, direct communication about opportunities and challenges, and accountability. Her facilitation is inclusive, content rich, and designed to reach outcomes.
